“A few years ago, I was in the same place many of you are right now—spending years collecting endless resources, convincing myself I wasn’t ready to take the next step. But the truth is, the problem wasn’t the resources; it was that I wasn’t taking action.
Once I finally started studying, everything changed. Within just 7 months, I achieved both my ASP and CSP certifications, with only a 2-month gap between the two exams.
The key is simple: stop wasting time gathering resources and start taking action. I’ve already done the hard work for you—organizing all the essential materials and pairing them with expert explanations.
This includes not just what’s in popular references like Safety Professional’s Reference and Study Guide, Third Edition by David Yates or Safety and Health for Engineers, Third Edition by Roger Brauer, but also invaluable lessons from the Fire Protection Handbook 21st Edition by NFPA The Occupational Environment: Its Evaluation, Control, and Management, Third Edition by AIHA, and official websites.
I hold multiple certifications, including CSP, CFPS, CIH, CIT, and PMP, which means I have mastered every detail of these certifications—not just surface-level knowledge.
It’s not about having tons of resources; it’s about starting. Start today, and I’ll see you inside the course! 🚀”

FAQ
Questions related to ASP/CSP
The Associate Safety Professional (ASP) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certifications are prestigious credentials offered by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). CSP is recognized as the gold standard in the field of occupational safety and health, validating your expertise in workplace safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance. These certifications demonstrate your commitment to excellence and open doors to advanced career opportunities worldwide.
The ASP (Associate Safety Professional) is an entry-level certification that focuses on fundamental safety practices and principles. It is often the first step toward achieving the CSP (Certified Safety Professional), which is an advanced certification recognized as the gold standard for safety professionals worldwide.
Both are valuable credentials, but they serve different purposes. The NEBOSH Diploma is widely recognized in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and focuses on workplace health and safety management. CSP, on the other hand, is globally recognized, particularly in the US, and is considered the highest standard for safety professionals, emphasizing technical expertise and risk management. In recent years, CSP certification has started gaining traction in the Middle East and is now increasingly requested for large-scale projects such as Red Sea and NEOM, highlighting its growing relevance in the region.
We wrote a dedicated blog to answer this question, read it.
Yes, but only if you hold a BCSP-qualified credential that meets the eligibility requirements for CSP.
These credentials demonstrate that you have already acquired the foundational safety knowledge equivalent to passing the ASP. The list contains many credentials, but I will list only the most popular one, especially in the Middle East:
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
- Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP)
- Transitional Safety Practitioner (TSP)
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
- Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH)
- Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP)
- NEBOSH National or International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
If you do not hold any of these credentials, you must pass the ASP exam before becoming eligible for the CSP.
You can apply directly for the CSP using the NEBOSH Diploma under the old system, as it meets the BCSP eligibility requirements.
For the NEBOSH Diploma under the new system, you will first need to obtain the Transitional Safety Practitioner (TSP) designation. Once you have the TSP, you can then apply for the CSP.
This distinction exists because the new system is aligned differently with the BCSP criteria, requiring the additional step of acquiring the TSP.
The Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP) designation is not an exam-based certification but rather an academic recognition given to graduates of BCSP-qualified safety degree programs. It’s an alternate pathway to CSP, bypassing the ASP exam. ASP, on the other hand, requires passing a rigorous exam.
Yes, both ASP and CSP certifications require recertification every five years. This is achieved by earning BCSP-recognized recertification points through continuing education, professional development, or other activities.
Also, you will be required to pay the annual renewal fees.
No, renewing the ASP certification is not required to maintain your CSP. While both certifications are issued by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), they are now treated as separate credentials. Once you earn your CSP, maintaining the ASP is optional and purely a personal choice.
If you decide to keep the ASP certification, it will require meeting recertification maintenance requirements, such as continuing education, to ensure ongoing professional growth. However, choosing not to maintain the ASP does not impact your CSP status in any way. Many professionals prefer to keep only their CSP, as it is considered the “Gold Standard” in safety certification.
Ultimately, whether you hold both certifications or only the CSP is entirely up to you.

Questions related to Transitional Safety Practitioner™ (TSP®)New section
The Transitional Safety Practitioner (TSP®) is a designation granted to graduates of Qualified Equivalent Programs (QEPs) — curriculum-based certificate or diploma programs in safety, health, or environmental fields that meet BCSP standards.
Holding the TSP satisfies the Qualified Credential requirement for the CSP, allowing you to apply directly for the CSP once all other requirements are met.
You must:
Graduate from a BCSP-approved Qualified Equivalent Program (QEP).
Submit your application through your BCSP account, see this video for more details.
No.
The TSP is a designation, not an exam. It is awarded based on your QEP academic credential.
Application Fee: $25
Exam Fee: Not applicable (no exam)
Eligibility Extension Fee: $100 if you need to extend your TSP eligibility period
Annual Renewal Fee: $140 to maintain the TSP designation
Yes.
TSP designation holders must pay an annual renewal fee ($140) to maintain their status — just like other BCSP credentials.
You must apply for and pass the CSP exam within six (6) years from the date the TSP is awarded.
No work experience is required to obtain the TSP.
However, after becoming TSP, you must meet the CSP experience requirement before applying for the CSP examination — and pass the CSP exam within the allowed time.
Only programs included on BCSP’s Qualified Equivalent Program (QEP) list are accepted, regardless of their level or country of origin. The most recognized QEP programs in the Middle East include NEBOSH IDip, IDSE, OTHM, among others listed below:

Course-related questions
Yes, we offer a 7-day refund policy. If you’re not satisfied, contact us within seven days of purchase for a full refund.
The majority of topics are common between ASP and CSP certifications.
If you’re based in the Middle East, you’re likely aiming for the CSP certification after acquiring at least 7 years of experience and earning other qualifications like NEBOSH or ISO certifications. However, you cannot proceed directly to the CSP exam; passing the ASP is a required step.
This course is specifically designed to address the needs of safety professionals in the Middle East, covering the shared topics between ASP and CSP while preparing you to succeed in both exams. It’s structured to align with your expertise and fast-track your certification journey.
The course is pre-recorded, so you can start anytime at your convenience. If you need any assistance, simply contact the instructor through our booking system. We’re here to support you every step of the way!
At Infinite HSE, we don’t focus on the length of our courses because it’s not an accurate measure of their quality.
What truly matters is that the course content is well-organized, concise, and free of unnecessary fillers added solely to extend the duration.
All our courses are divided into sections, with lessons under each section and topics under some lessons. This structure ensures ease of learning and quick reference whenever needed.
Our videos are recorded in high-quality FHD with clear audio and are professionally edited to remove any excess content and add supplementary explanations when necessary.
This approach guarantees that all content is of high educational value, unlike courses that are recorded as unstructured live lectures filled with breaks, side discussions, interruptions, and wasted time on unnecessary instructions, like asking participants to mute their microphones.
Therefore, we don’t measure course value by duration. A course could be 100 hours long if that’s what you prefer, but the real challenge and effort lie in creating engaging, high-quality content that respects the learners’ time and maintains their focus.
Absolutely! We’re here to help. You can book a one-on-one session with the trainer through our integrated Google Calendar booking system, available directly inside the course. Reach out anytime for assistance or clarification on any topic.
You will have access for one year for course materials.
The extension option will become available within the course once your current access period expires. You can always view your remaining access days inside the course, allowing you to plan ahead and avoid interruptions to your learning.
The extension fee is 250 AED/SAR (approximately 66 USD) for an additional 3 months of access. Lower-cost extension options for 1 month and 2 months are also available, providing flexibility based on your needs.
Note: Free extensions are available only if you have already scheduled your certification exam. In this case, your course access can be extended until your exam date upon providing proof of the confirmed exam appointment.
This is a reasonable question, and we completely understand why you might ask it.
All services on our platform involve ongoing operating costs that are directly linked to learner usage. These include video hosting and streaming, data storage, technical support, and the interactive learning tools integrated into the platform. In addition, our question bank includes AI-powered study tools that help learners understand explanations and review content more effectively, and these services incur costs based on actual usage.
For this reason, extension fees are not intended as an additional profit source. Rather, they help cover part of the costs associated with continuing to provide these services after the original access period has ended.
More importantly, the primary purpose of our certification preparation courses is to help you schedule and pass your exam within the allocated access period. We do not view extensions as a goal, and we certainly do not want learners to rely on them. In fact, having a defined access period encourages commitment to a study plan, helps prevent unnecessary delays, and motivates learners to stay on track toward their certification goals.
To support this, we provide advance expiration reminders, a one-time course hold option in certain situations, and free extensions for learners who have already scheduled their exam and need access to the course materials until their exam date.
Yes. If you have remaining days in your course and need to pause your studies (for example, due to work or personal leave), you can hold your access to the course for one free time for maximum of 60 days. This will stop the countdown of your remaining days, and when you are ready to continue, you can unfreeze your access and resume with the same balance of days.
To help you plan, you will also receive automatic email reminders when your access is approaching expiration (at 180, 90 days remaining). This gives you enough time to either continue your study or hold your access.
The course includes:
- In-depth lessons that provide clear technical explanations for complex topics.
- Flashcards to help you efficiently memorize key concepts.
- A realistic question bank that mimics the style and difficulty of the actual exam.
- Downloadable resources to support your study.
- A 1-year software license for the TI-30XS calculator, essential for exam-related calculations.
The course is entirely pre-recorded, allowing you to learn at your own pace. If you need additional support, the instructor is available to answer questions or provide guidance.
The course is self-paced. Most learners prepare for ASP within 4–6 months and for CSP in another 2–3 months, depending on their schedule and dedication.
We don’t provide a physical calculator, but we offer a 1-year software license for the TI-30XS calculator, allowing you to practice and familiarize yourself with its functions before the exam.
All materials are accessible through our online platform, which you can log into anytime from any device. You’ll have 24/7 access to ensure flexibility in your study schedule.
Our course is led by an instructor with multiple certifications, offering expert guidance throughout your journey. It provides well-organized resources, realistic practice exams, and direct support, ensuring you don’t just learn—you succeed. Unlike others, we focus on practical applications, combining technical explanations with proven strategies to help you pass the exam and apply this knowledge in real-life.
